  • Is your dog one of Vancouver’s most popular breeds?

Could you guess what Vancouver’s most popular dog breed is? Last year for the first time, French Bulldogs entered Canada’s top 10 most popular dog breeds and we can’t say we were surprised – Vancouver dog owners have loved Frenchies for years! The Canadian Kennel Club’s annual list showed that once again the gentle and loving Labrador Retriever was Canada’s most popular breed – but a surprise new entry was the Portuguese Water Dog. Featuring for the first time since The Canadian Kennel Club (Canada’s primary registry for purebred dogs) began their records, the Portuguese Water Dog entered the top 10, just narrowly beating the Miniature Schnauzer to take the 10th spot. Check out the full list below... Canada’s Top 10 Most Popular Dog Breeds 1. Labrador Retriever 2. German Shepherd 3. Golden Retriever 4. Poodle 5. French Bulldog 6. Havanese 7. Shetland Sheepdog 8. Australian Shepherd 9. Bernese Mountain Dog 10. Portuguese Water Dog So, this list got us thinking. How does Canada’s top breeds compare to Vancouver’s? We think we have a pretty good idea of the most popular breeds in the city thanks to our amazing PawSwap community. We meet a lot of local dog owners and adorable pups at our PawSwap Meet ups and events, so here are the breeds we think are Vancouver’s most popular! Labrador Retrievers – Gentle, family friendly and outgoing, these gorgeous dogs love the outdoors and are perfect companions for Vancouverites Corgis – The hottest dogs of 2019, and definitely a favourite among Vancouver dog owners. Active and animated, in their own minds they are big dogs in small bodies and they love to be involved in everything. French Bulldogs - A Frenchie loves people and will seek out anyone who is willing to provide a lap. They are friendly, affectionate and love attention. Terriers – Terriers range from the highly energetic short-haired Jack Russell to the long, silky-haired Yorkie. Highly intelligent and trainable they are perfect city dogs which is why Vancouverites love them! Collies – Vancouver’s most popular collie is the medium-sized border collie. Playful, hardworking, intelligent and athletic, they are great companions for children. Shepherds – Reserved but extremely loyal and protective, they are intelligent, highly trainable and make wonderful family pets. Shih Tzus – Friendly and playful, they are well suited to small living spaces. Loyal, affectionate, outgoing and cute – they are a perfect choice for Vancouver dog owners. Schnauzers – Quick learners and adaptable, schnauzers can be miniature, standard, or giant, but are always extremely cute with their distinctive beard! We see a lot of Miniature Schnauzers in Vancouver, probably because they are just as happy living in a city apartment as in the country! More about PawSwap... • Rescuing two dogs from being killed in Taiwan inspired this popular Vancouver business

Ask any owner of a dog and they’ll tell you the same thing. They change your life. But for Vancouver’s Andy Song, he had no idea just how much his life was going to change when he answered a call from a rescue organization back in 2015. “I got the call to say there was an injured dog who had been hit by a car and abandoned in Taiwan. Either we rescued him or he was going to the kill-shelter.” Andy recalls. There wasn’t a question for Andy and his wife Tracey and before long, Pedro the French Bulldog was on his way to Vancouver for a new life. After the horrific things Pedro had been through, Andy and his wife wanted the best for their precious pup. When nothing on the market met their expectations, they started making their own collars in their garage – high quality, innovative designs that matched Pedro’s personality. And so, Woof Concept was born. 2 years later, Andy got another call from a rescue organization about a puppy in desperate need of help. “This dog was in an illegal puppy mill and had spent her whole life in a cage,” explains Andy. “The police raided the place and found her.” “She was used for breeding, maybe 4 or 5 litters, and she was barely 3 years old. She had never been outside.  It was heart-breaking.” Again, Andy was faced with the same decision – they could rescue this dog and bring her to Canada, or she would end up being slaughtered. Marjorie joined the Vancouver family and fellow French Bulldog Pedro. By this point people were starting to notice the stylish pups’ unique collars and leashes. Dog owners would stop the Vancouver couple in the street, asking where they could get a collar like Pedro and Marjorie’s. As interest grew, so did Woof Concepts and before long distributors from all over the country were wanting the Canadian-made products. It was very important to Andy and his wife that their business gave back and made a difference. He explains, “When we got Marjorie, she didn’t know what grass was. She didn’t know how to react to it because, she had never been outside before. It was shocking.” “We knew we had to do our bit to help stop animal cruelty and that’s why we have pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from every item sold back to support local and international rescue organizations.” By 2017, the business was doing so well that Andy gave up his career in banking after 15 years, and he has never looked back. “I am happier than I’ve ever been. I gave up a lot but I’m doing something that actually matters now and we are truly making a difference,” he tells us. “Your life really never is the same after you rescue a dog!” Want to know more about Woof Concept? • 12 Things Only Vancouver Dog Owners Will Understand

Written by Cheryl Cole You recognize dogs you follow on Instagram when you see them Downtown. You know the names of every dog you see in the elevator of your building on your way to work and you can’t walk past a dog tied up outside a shop without giving its head a scratch. Sound familiar? Of course it does! That’s because there's just some things that only dog lovers can understand and we’ve compiled a list of 12 things that every dog owner in Vancouver can relate to. So Vancouver dog owners enjoy, because this one is especially for you! 1. Feeding your dog better than you feed yourself. Oh, and if we do treat ourselves to a nice meal at a restaurant, when we ask for a ‘doggy bag’ we mean it literally. We'll carry it in our bags the whole way home on the SkyTrain knowing we won’t see any of those leftovers again after our pup gets a sniff. But still, we wouldn’t have it any other way! 2. Being outside in the rain for hours just so your dog can pee... But of course, he just stands there shivering, looking up at you, like “What the heck are we doing here?” So, you go inside, drenched, and he pees in the hallway, obvs. 3. Have a selection of 100 different rain jackets and booties for your dog... Even though it makes no difference as he just pees in the hallway when it’s raining anyway - but, at least he’ll look super cute for our many trips outside before we admit defeat. 4. Swiping right because you want to meet the dog more than you want to meet the person. This one's for the single ladies (and men)! We've all been there and you're probably lying if you say you haven’t at least thought about it! Of course, it’s pretty unlikely they’ll bring that adorable little furball in their profile picture on your first date, but if there’s even a slight chance you’ll get to meet them it’s worth a try. Suggesting Queen Elizabeth Dog Park for the date isn't too obvious, is it? 5. Trying to sneak your dog everywhere with you. They won’t see her if she’s in my purse, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to have dogs in their shop? It would brighten anyone’s day who saw her! And you only have to quickly pop in because you know exactly what you’re getting... Will they even notice? Probably, yes. Does it stop Vancouverites trying it anyway? Probably not. P.S Looking for dog-friendly patios? We got you covered. Check out our list here. 6. Saving up so your dog can get a haircut before you. It’s standard. Every two months, you'll drive as far as an hour and a half outside of the city to get your pooch a haircut that costs double the amount of your own, and not feel the slightest bit guilty. Would you even consider spending that amount on your own hair? Not a chance!  But this is your baby and it's important they look picture perfect at all times. 7. Speaking of babies, you opted for having a dog instead of a child because it was a WAY cheaper option... But you soon realized that you probably spend almost as much on your dog any way because you love them so much. (oops!) Another $70 doggy rain jacket in a slightly different shade of blue? Take my money! 8. You post photos of your dog on social media just as often as your friends with kids share photos of their children. Again, we can’t reiterate this enough – they are our babies! And of course we know which Instagram filters make them look the best, we’ve been taking pictures of them since the day they were born! #puppylove #dogmom 9. Your parents have accepted that they won’t be grandparents anytime soon, and make do with pictures of their ‘granddog’ on the fridge instead. They love it really... Especially your mom who proudly shows her friends all the pictures she’s taken from the weekends she's looked after him. Oh, and she also has a “I Love My Granddog” bumper sticker on her CRV that your dog got her last Christmas. 10. Your weekend plans are separated into ‘Things I Can Do with My Dog, and ‘Things I Can’t Do with My Dog.’ You've been at work all week and you can’t bear the thought of leaving your dog at the weekend. They are just so cute and so happy to be have you home. So pretty much everything in the ‘Things I Can’t Do with My Dog’ category gets thrown out the window every time. Here is a guide to our fav spots to hit with your pup. 11. Hiking up Quarry Rock just for the dog selfies. Even if you hate hiking, there’s nothing cuter than a picture of a dog who hikes. They love getting mucky and going on an adventure, and all your Insta followers love the pictures of your pup at the top of Quarry Rock – it's adorable! So you reluctantly do it... over and over again. 12. They aren’t just your child, they’re also your best friend, your significant other and everything else… Because, let’s be honest. You’d rather stay at home and watch Netflix and chill with them than hang out with the majority of people living in the city. It’s a special kind of love and we wouldn’t change it for the world! • Meet the dog-mom forced to move out of Vancouver to keep her dogs together

Can you imagine making a choice between your home and your dogs? It’s unthinkable, yet this is exactly what happened to Vancouver dog-mom Elena. Originally from Russia, Elena moved to Vancouver when she was 10 years old before moving to Mexico 9 years later. It was while Elena was living in Cancun that she got her precious dogs – 4 beautiful chihuahuas. Dad, Topu, Mom Prada, and their 2 female pups Bakita and Goldie. They were her world and when she moved back to Vancouver in 2014, there was no way she was leaving her beloved dogs behind. Elena was excited to be back in Canada, especially Vancouver which is widely considered one of the most dog friendly cities in the country. However, when Elena found out that Greater Vancouver had a law allowing a maximum of 2 dogs per household – she was faced with a tough decision. “There was no way I was giving up any of my dogs.” Elena explains. “I couldn’t separate them.  It wasn’t even an option for me which meant I had to move out of Vancouver.” “I couldn’t believe a city with so many dog lovers would have such strict and unrealistic rules for owners.” admits Elena. The dog population is estimated to be up to 150,000 in the City of Vancouver alone but there are many restrictions for renters. For example, the official policy regarding pets in Metro Vancouver managed housing complexes states that “a tenant may keep a total of two of the following animals as pets: a bird, a rabbit, a rodent, a cat or a dog.”* And as any dog owner renting in Downtown Vancouver will know, Strata Laws can have even tighter restrictions with many apartments having a one dog limit. So, for Elena, there was only one choice. She started looking for somewhere she could live with her 4 dogs and thankfully, this story has a happy ending. The family moved to Port Moody 2 years ago and live on the first floor of a house with landlords who adore pets as much as Elena does. Although Elena has found a solution that her and her gorgeous pups enjoy, she still feels strongly about the laws and doesn't agree with them. She admits, “I understand why there has to be restrictions for the safety of animals because unfortunately there are some irresponsible pet owners that ruin it for others. “But we have so many pet shelters nowadays and surely the strict bylaws limits people who would love to adopt more dogs?” For Topu (11), Prada (9) and their pups Bakita and Goldie (8), they couldn’t be happier with their new lives in Port Moody and love all the space they have to play in their backyard. And as for Elena, she just loves being able to live with her 4 furry besties, even if she does get mistaken for a full-time dog-walker when she takes them out to the park! • Top Vancouver Tourist Attractions as told by local dogs

We’ve all seen guides to top Vancouver tourist attractions. There are hundreds of them in books and online, so how can we bring you something you haven’t seen a thousand times before? Well, we thought we’d try something a little different – a guide to the best spots in Vancouver as told by local dogs! Obviously, dogs can’t speak to us but you know what they say, a picture paints a thousand words and it’s clear to see from these photos that local dogs absolutely love what Vancouver has to offer. So, if you’re a pet parent looking for local places your pups will love, looking for spots to get the best dog pictures in Vancouver or just enjoy looking at cute dog photos, then this guide is especially for you! 1) Capilano Suspension Bridge For sure one of our the top Vancouver tourist attractions which appears in almost every tourist-guide. There’s a reason Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of the most famous ones. 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River in North Vancouver, the suspension bridge has thrilled (and terrified) visitors since 1889. It has also been dog-friendly since opening - a big reason why locals go back time and time again. As you can see from these pictures, there’s absolutely no doubt that dogs have a great time at Capilano, enjoying the lush-forest, Treetop Adventure and Clifftop Walk, and giving us dog-parents some amazing photo opportunities! Unlike us owners, our furry friends don’t seem to have any problem with the height so if you’re looking for a fun day out with your pup, we think Capilano is guaranteed to get their tail wagging! 2) Quarry Rock, Deep Cove North Vancouver is known for its amazing hikes and stunning views, and this one is a favourite with Vancouverites and dogs alike. An easy hike through beautiful forest takes you to Quarry Rock, a clifftop overlooking the beautiful seaside town of Deep Cove. The views are stunning at any time of the year and dogs big and small love letting loose off-leash through the woods, running over cute wooden bridges and then getting a rest on Quarry Rock while we take in the beautiful views. You’re also pretty much guaranteed to get an amazing picture of your dog at this spot, so get some inspo from these adorable photos before your next trip to North Van. Deep Cove is also a great spot in Vancouver to go kayaking, so if your dog is as adventurous as you are, you can skip the hike and get out on the water. 3) Stanley Park Seawall Another one of Vancouver’s most famous attractions is Stanley Park and it is definitely a big favourite amongst our dogs. The 9km stretch is the perfect place to walk your dog in the city, with lush greenery, water and beaches, there is so much for your pooch to enjoy on the way round that there’s no chance of them getting bored. Whether you’re walking, running or cycling around Stanley Park, your four-legged bestie can be by your side and enjoy it all with you. These cuties certainly enjoy the Seawall... 4) Lynn Canyon Park Lynn Canyon Park is the home of several beautiful hiking trails so if you are looking for a leisurely stroll with your dog through the forest or a tougher uphill climb, it's a great choice. It also has a dog friendly suspension bridge and although it isn’t as big as Capilano, standing at 50m high, it is a free alternative. Dogs love getting their exercise by running through the vast forest but also love getting a dip in the various pools along the trails. Check out these pups enjoying what Lynn Canyon Park has to offer... 5) Granville Island Although you can’t take your dogs into the famous public market, they can enjoy the outdoor patio area, walk along the seawall and check out some street performers with you. They also get to ride the Aquabus to the island which is obviously fun for both you and your doggo! But the main reason dogs love Granville Island is The Granville Island Pet Treatery. Vancouver's premier pet bakery and boutique is famous for its handmade organic treats which are baked fresh every day and are a big hit with pups. You can treat your dog to toys, gifts, cute outfits and more! 6) Bowen Lookout Every photo we found of dogs at Bowen Lookout, whether big or small, they all looked like they were having the time of their lives. So, we’d say that’s enough evidence for it to be included in our list! The Bowen Lookout is an amazing viewpoint in West Vancouver, near the Cypress Mountain ski area and overlooking Howe Sound. Dogs are allowed on-leash so this is a great place for you to explore with your pup. The hike is relatively short with a steep climb which is no problem if you and your doggo love getting active. And the view at the top is worth the climb! 7) David Lam Park One of the best things about owning a dog in Vancouver is that pups are welcome in all of its parks. David Lam is just one of the many parks that you are guaranteed to find many very happy dogs running around in. It’s a great park for the whole family with sport courts, playgrounds, skyline and water views. As we know, all dogs need their exercise and most of them love socialising with their doggy friends so while you relax, your pup can enjoy the park’s spacious grassy area – perfect! 8) Lighthouse Park Dogs love getting off-leash and exploring which is why they love Lighthouse Park. Located in West Vancouver, this is one of the most beautiful scenic parks you’ll see on the West Coast and your dogs will love it just as much as you. Explore acres of beautiful forest and giant trees while your dog takes in the great outdoors and make sure to stop off at the various viewpoints for some of the best dog photo opportunities in Vancouver! 9) Queen Elizabeth Park At 152 metres above sea level, the highest point of the city, Queen Elizabeth Park has some amazing views of Vancouver. And although your dogs probably don’t care much about the views, they love being at your side as you explore the gardens. Dogs also love the off-leash area, located at 4600 Cambie St, off East 37th Avenue and Columbia Street. Queen Elizabeth Park is one of the nicest walking areas in the city so if you don’t fancy a hike, it’s a great choice for you and your pup. 10) Pacific Spirit Regional Park It’s no surprise that dogs love it at Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Over 73 km's of dog friendly trails and 90% of them are off-leash - what's not to love?! Located next to UBC in the Point Grey neighbourhood, just a 10-minute drive from Downtown Vancouver, Pacific Spirit Regional Park is accessible all year round and is very well equipped for dog owners with poop bag stations and red "poop" bins around the trails. With forests, creeks, beaches, cliffs and bog, your dog is going to love a trip to this regional park, and so will you as you connect with nature! 11) Dog Mountain I mean, it has Dog in the name so obviously we couldn’t leave this one out. This short hike from Mount Seymour isn’t the easiest and although there isn’t a lot of elevation gain, you do need to watch your step as there are areas of slippery tree roots and lots of rapidly changing terrain. Obviously, this just makes it even more fun for dogs! Although they have to be on-leash, they absolutely love the muddy trail and their enthusiasm helps spur their owners on to get to the top. On a clear day this is going to be one of the best views of Vancouver you can get so grab your hiking boots and take your dog for an adventure! 12) Vancouver Art Gallery Dogs aren’t going to enjoy this one as much as their owners, but we just had to include this photo! Vancouver Art Gallery is recognised as one of North America’s most respected and innovative visual arts institutions and is a very popular spot for tourists and locals. So, it’s worth checking out but just make sure to leave your dogs at home and treat them to one of the other 11 places we’ve listed instead! We’d love to feature your pictures so if you do take your pups to any of these places, make sure to use #pawswap when you share your cute dog photos!

  • Meet the volunteer therapy dogs helping young people to read in Vancouver

Written by Cheryl Cole All dogs are amazing, but these volunteer therapy dogs are just that extra bit special. Obviously, it goes without saying that the St John Ambulance therapy dogs are ridiculously cute, but they take their jobs very seriously and are making a huge difference in the local community. These wonderful volunteer pups are helping children improve their reading skills with the ‘Paws 4 Stories’ initiative running throughout 22 libraries across communities in British Columbia. ‘Paws 4 Stories’ allows children to read books to volunteer therapy dogs, helping to build their confidence while also improving their literacy skills. Unsurprisingly, the program has been extremely popular with families in Vancouver. Ashten Black, Program and Outreach Manager at St John Ambulance and owner of one of the program’s 145 Child Evaluated therapy dogs, explains, “Paws 4 Stories really works. I have seen children, apprehensive to read become excited to pick out a book.  Dogs are non-judgemental and their company and companionship really helps to put people at ease.  It’s beautiful to be a part of.” I was lucky enough to meet Ashten's dog ‘Pig’ and see for myself what makes him and his furry friends so special, and it really is impossible to not feel happy when you see these dogs proudly wearing their ‘St John Ambulance’ bandanas. Ashten rescued ‘Pig’, a beautiful Border Collie and Tahltan Bear Dog cross, back in 2013 and it didn’t take long for her to recognise his potential as a great therapy dog. “He was gentle and sociable from the very beginning and was always so good at picking up on the emotional needs of people, gravitating towards people who needed support. I knew he’d be amazing and he brings so much joy to everyone he meets,” smiles his proud owner. In his spare time, 7-year-old 'Pig' is a big adventurer and loves stand-up paddle boarding, hiking and even has his own backpack. But there’s nothing ‘Pig’ enjoys more than volunteering and he looks forward to curling up on a beanbag and taking part in ‘Paws 4 Stories’ every week.  He loves poetry (his favourite book is ‘The Dog with Two Tails’) and lights up when he is read books about cats, or food! If you’d like to take your child to a ‘Paws 4 Stories’ session, just check out your local library’s website for their weekly schedule – we've included the next two events below. And if you think your dog would make a great therapy dog, St John’s Ambulance is always looking for volunteers so get in touch! NEXT PAWS 4 STORIES SESSIONS Where: Capilano Library When: Wed, Nov 27, 2019 @ 3:30pm - 4:45pm Registration required. Call 604-987-4471, ext. 8175 or visit the Capilano Information Desk. MORE ABOUT ST JOHN AMBULANCE THERAPY DOG PROGRAM The St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program was launched in Canada in 1995 and has been improving lives on a daily basis ever since by bringing joy and comfort to the sick, lonely and those who need a friendly visit. Currently, St John Ambulance has 145 Child Evaluated dogs that participate in Paws 4 Stories and over 860 regular Therapy Dogs in their Program. The volunteer-based program is run purely on donations and is always looking for new volunteers. If you have a dog who you think would make a great therapy dog, or you’re a dog lover who wants to lend a hand and volunteer in the program, send an email to vancouver@bc.sja.ca.

  • Find out if dogs REALLY look like their owners at this Vancouver Science World exhibition

Written by Cheryl Cole We all remember that scene from 101 Dalmatians where Pongo looks out of the window to see various owners walking dogs who look exactly like them. Sure, it’s a Disney exaggeration but is it really that unrealistic? There have been numerous studies over the years to find out if dogs actually do look like their owners, with some claiming there is scientific evidence that women with long hair are more likely to own dogs with floppy ears. Sound interesting? Then you’ll be happy to hear that the latest study is happening right now in Vancouver. Science World at TELUS World of Science is testing this theory as part of their enormous Cats & Dogs exhibition, running until Jan. 5, 2020. And even better, they are using Vancouver dog owners to do it! ‘88 Dogs and 1 Cat’ is an exhibition showcasing recent photos of 88 local dog owners posing with their beloved pooches (and 1 cat, especially for you cat-lovers) to see if pets really do look like their owners. Perhaps it’s actually owners that look like their pets? Check out the exhibition daily from 10am-5pm at Science World to find out the answer for yourself. And good news dog lovers. Next weekend only (23-24 Nov.) in Science World at TELUS World of Science, you can also see the famous President’s Choice SuperDogs perform the ‘Science of the SuperDogs’. The show combines fun and education, giving audiences the chance to see the SuperDogs in action while also learning about the science that makes dogs so amazing. Now, that’s our kind of science!

  • Vancouver couple rescue terrified Bali street dog after witnessing a puppy get killed on busy road

Written by: Cheryl Cole For any dog lover, your natural instinct when seeing a scared, lonely dog in danger is to try to save them. It’s a no brainer, right? But what if you were on the other side of the world when you found them? For Vancouver couple Daniel and Fabiola, after the heartbreak of witnessing a street dog getting knocked down and killed on a busy road in Bali, there was no way they were flying home without the puppy they instantly fell in love with. The couple who were living in Bali found a terrified two-week old puppy in the middle of a rice field while on their way to the gym, just six days before they were due to fly home to Canada. After witnessing first-hand the devastating fate of one Bali street dog the day before, the couple were willing to do whatever it took to bring this little puppy 8,061 miles back to Vancouver with them. “We tried everything we could to save that first little dog.” Daniel painfully recalls. “We were trying to get him off the road but he was so scared he ran straight into the busy traffic. Before we could do anything, there was a truck and he was crushed before our eyes. It was absolutely heart-breaking.” Bali is home to an estimated 150,000 street dogs who roam freely on the island. Although being thought of as the oldest species of dog on earth, dating back 15,000 years, many Balinese dogs are in desperate need of help and living in terrible conditions. So, when Daniel and Fabiola stumbled upon another little puppy the next day, they knew what they had to do. “When we found this tiny, beautiful puppy, hungry and alone in a rice field with no one around except the frog he was playing with, we fell in love immediately,” Daniel recalls. “We named him Froggy and he was ours. There was no way we were leaving without him. Especially after what we had seen the day before. We were still heartbroken but this was our second chance and there was no doubt in either of our minds – this one was joining our family.” Despite being repeatedly told it would be impossible to get everything in order before they returned to Canada, Daniel and Fabiola refused to accept this and did everything in their power to make it happen. Six days later, Froggy was on a plane back to Vancouver with his new dog parents and is now a healthy, and happy dog enjoying his new Canadian lifestyle. You can see what he gets up to on his Instagram @froggydabalidoggy. Aww, we love a happy ending! And as for his new parents, they simply can’t imagine their life without him and were even inspired to start a new business to help more dogs like Froggy. Named after their precious rescue pup, and motivated by his eagerness to chew through every one of his leashes (dog parents, we’ve all been there!), ‘Froggy Da Doggy’ is a stylish dogs accessories brand that gives 15% of every purchase towards helping street dogs in Bali. Bali dogs will always have a very special place in the hearts of this Vancouver couple and be warned, things are about to get emotional... When asked what it means to have a rescue dog as part of the family, Daniel tells us, “It's hard to describe how special it is to have a rescue dog but my girlfriend and I talk about this often. It's a special kind of love. We feel great knowing that Froggy could be anywhere but he chose us and we chose him. We both have had dogs our entire life but Froggy is a special dog and it’s a very special love. I know all dogs are great, but we think rescue dogs are a level up from greatness.” We’re not crying... Here at Pawswap, we love finding you great products for your four-legged besties, but we also enjoy giving Vancouver-grown companies some love, especially when they are dog lovers like these two! ‘Froggy Da Doggy’ is a high quality, stylish dog accessories brand that inspires elegance in everyday life with 15% of every purchase going towards helping street dogs in Bali.
