Vancouver rescue enlists help of Bachelor Nation favourites and their pups for calendar fundraiser

The adorable calendar features stars of the hit show posing with their pets, with all proceeds helping sick, injured and abandoned dogs.

If you love cutes dogs and reality TV, then you're definitely going to want to check out this calendar.

A Vancouver rescue organization has recently released an adorable calendar with some reality TV favourites and their pets to raise the funds needed to help sick, injured and abandoned dogs.

The Rescue Chain, a Vancouver not-for-profit organization committed to reducing pet overpopulation and suffering of dogs through spay and neuter clinics, has called in help from stars of Bachelor Nation and their furry family members.

The calendar is on-sale now for $25, and all proceeds will be spilt between The Rescue Chain and K9 Advocates Manitoba. The money raised will provide essential care to injured animals and cover vet bills, the cost of transportation of animals, food and supplies.

Founder of The Rescue Chain, Vancouver's Alex Blumberg, says that now more than ever, donations are vital to be able to continue the work the organization is doing.

"Donations are everything as being a not-for-profit, the only way we can keep the rescue running is through donations. Our vet bills are outrageously large as we take in a lot of sick, injured animals," explains Blumberg, a former Bachelor contestant.

"With the conditions up north being very harsh, it tends to leave the animals in rough shape almost always needing medical attention."

Familiar Faces

If you consider yourself a part of Bachelor Nation, you'll definitely recognize some fan favourites from past seasons of the franchise included in the calendar.

As Blumberg herself appeared on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, she was able to call on her fellow Bachelor alum to star alongside her in this special fundraising project.

Some of the past contestants featured alongside Blumberg and her dog Lou are Kendall Long and her rescue pup Pistachio, Blake Horstmann with his dog Annie, fellow Canadian Caitlin Clemmens with Cooper, and Bachelor in Paradise favourites Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes with their Papillon Pappy.

Each past contestant involved with the calendar emailed a photo they'd taken to Blumberg, along with some cute information about their beloved furry friend.

"It means so much to us to have their continued support with helping to raise money for the dog rescue. This isn’t the first time they have stepped up to help!," says Blumberg.
