It's hard to get away from the news at the moment, and although we need to keep informed about the effects of COVID-19 around the world, we think there's space for some positive stories online right now.

This isn't a groundbreaking news story or even an important informational piece. It's simply 11 really adorable Vancouver pups that we thought you'd like to read about today.

So without further ado, let's introduce you to some of our favourite local dogs!

@vankleiox

Kleio is a German Shepherd mix and will be turning 3 years old on May 2. She is a rescue from the states and we're told she is incredibly smart. "It’s almost like she’s teaching us commands instead of us teaching her!" laughs her owner.

Fun Fact: She adores belly rubs and will hug your hands with her paws to make sure you can’t stop.

2. Jasper
